The online seminar "Integration of the edge cloud into the field level" is intended to give participants an introduction to the industrial use of cloud systems at the lowest level of the automation pyramid – the field level. The basics of cloud systems will be covered with a focus on private cloud systems. Methods and concepts as well as current results from research into the seamless integration of the cloud into production processes with a focus on real-time capable applications will be presented.
