"To develop optimal manufacturing technologies for engine components three things are necessary: a deep understanding of the components in operation, a wide range of manufacturing technologies for the ideal production chain, and last but not least a team that is highly motivated and passionate."

Higher efficiency and lower emissions are key objectives in the development of modern turbomachines. Achieving these goals requires innovative materials and geometries as well as new manufacturing processes.

Our spectrum ranges from process design and the prototype manufacturing of individual components to the development of comprehensive manufacturing concepts. This is why we even address the high "Technology Readiness Level" (TRL). For our work, we have access to state-of-the-art machinery and a digitally networked 5G infrastructure.

In our longstanding, large network we exchange information about the latest developments with research institutions and companies in Germany and worldwide. A particularly close cooperation connects us with the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT and the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering WZL of the RWTH Aachen.
