Cornelia Rojacher finished her Master's degree in Business Administration and Power Engineering at the RWTH Aachen University. Since 2018, she has been working at the Fraunhofer IPT as a research assistant in the department "Glass and Precision Manufacturing" and is involved in process development for precision glass molding. In August 2020 she took over as head of the Optics business unit.
In August 2020, she took over as Head of the Business Unit "Optics" and founded the Aachen Center for Optics Production (ACOP) to work with industry partners to tackle a key challenge facing the optics industry: improving quality, sustainability, and efficiency in manufacturing (ACOP – Aachen Center for Optics Production).
Cornelia Rojacher has been Head of the Department "Glass and Precision Manufacturing" since February 2024. The focus lies on the precise manufacture of glass elements, which are produced directly or using replicative processes.
