Integrating mobile communication management into production - challenges and approaches

Integrating mobile networks into production management and infrastructure can be a complex task that poses various challenges. However, in this seminar, we will delve into the topic and explore ways to enhance this integration. Specifically, we will focus on leveraging the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) and APIs to tighten the integration between mobile networks, production management, and infrastructure.

The AAS can be extremely valuable in the integration of mobile networks into production management and infrastructure. By utilizing the AAS, companies can achieve a standardized and comprehensive representation of their assets, including mobile devices and infrastructure components. This standardized representation allows for seamless communication and interoperability between different systems and devices. The AAS provides a structured and consistent way to describe the properties, capabilities, and behavior of assets, enabling better understanding and control over the entire production process.

The use of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) enables seamless integration with other systems and technologies. APIs allow for the exchange of data and functionality between different software applications, making it easier to connect mobile networks with production management systems and infrastructure.

By utilizing these technologies, we aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of managing and controlling mobile communication for production processes.
