Application FAQs: Your questions – our answers!

  • All vacant job postings can be found at www.ipt.fraunhofer.de/jobs. Positions that we have already filled are removed immediately from our job portal.

  • We only accept online applications. For each job posting that contains the "Apply" button, you can apply using the online form.

  • Your application should contain a meaningful letter of application, a detailed résumé, relevant certificates and, if available, certificates of internships and/or part-time jobs.

  • If you haven't found a suitable position among the current offers, we would of course be happy to receive your speculative application. In order to be able to forward your application to the right department, it is important that you tell us which topics you are particularly interested in.

  • After you have successfully submitted your application documents to our online platform, you will receive an automatic receipt confirmation. We make every effort to process all incoming applications as quickly as possible and to check them carefully and therefore this process may take a little time. If we rate your application positively, we will invite you to an interview in the next step so that we can get to know you personally. You can view the current status of your application at any time in your profile.

  • If you have any specialist questions about the position, please contact the contact person named in the advertisement. For general questions about the application process, please contact our recruiting team.

  • The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft adheres to the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act. You can withdraw your application at any time or delete your profile in the applicant portal. If you do not delete it yourself, we will keep your data in our database for a maximum of six months after the application process has been completed.
