Production Planning and Control

One of the most important goals of Industrie 4.0 is the particularly high flexibility of production: complex, customer-specific production orders can be loaded into current production even at short notice and completed on schedule. Machines and manual workstations can be automatically configured, converted and even moved on the shop floor. In order to be able to map this flexibility already in production planning and control, sophisticated processes and software solutions must be provided. Fraunhofer IPT accompanies companies in this challenging task - from requirements analysis and conception to the development of software demonstrators.

Energy-oriented MES

The aim of "eMES" is to develop a software prototype for energy-oriented production control and regulation.

Synchronized individual production

The aim of "PARSyP" is to reduce uncertainties in production planning by using predictive analysis in make-to-order production.
