Jonathan Krauß studied Engineering and Business Administration at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. He completed his studies in 2015 with a Master of Science degree. In 2021, Jonathan Krauß finished his doctorate at RWTH Aachen University. In his dissertation, he focused on "Optimizing hyperparameters for machine learning algorithms in production".

In December 2015, he started as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT in the "Production Quality" department. In April 2018, he took over as head of the "Process Optimization" group. From April 2021 to December 2021, Jonathan Krauß has headed the "Production Quality" department. Since January 2022, he is head of the department "Digitalization of Battery Cell Production" at the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Battery Cell Production FFB.In 2021, Jonathan Krauß finished his doctorate at RWTH Aachen University. In his dissertation, he focused on "Optimizing hyperparameters for machine learning algorithms in production".
