Daniel Heinen

Daniel Heinen was awarded his degree in engineering RWTH University, Aachen. There, he specialized in the field of metallurgy and materials engineering.

Since January 2009, he has been working at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT, initially as a project engineer in the "Laser Material Processing Department". Early in 2012, he was appointed to the position of Leader of the "Additive and Hybrid Manufacturing Processes" group. Daniel Heinen was appointed Manager of the "Turbomachinery" business unit in January 2016.
