The Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT will present the research project »AIDPATH« at MEDICA 2023. Under the motto »AI for Hospitals«, a joint booth with the projects AICCELERATE and HosmartAI projects will provide insights into the latest research for the (automated) use of artificial intelligence in hospital environments will be given.

In the EU project AIDPATH, partners from industry and research will develop over a period of four years to develop a system for the production of CAR-T cells for the treatment of cancer. The automated and
intelligent system for the production of CAR-T cells is able to deliver a
and patient-specific cell therapy directly at the point of treatment, i.e., directly in the directly at the point of treatment, i.e. directly in the hospital. The integration of the plant into the hospital environment, taking into account the logistical processes as well as the data management and data security are taken into account.
