Hannover Messe
Hannover, Germany, April 22 - 26, 2024
At the Hannover Messe, more than 4000 companies will be presenting their solutions for sustainable and climate-neutral production through automation, digitalization and electrification. We will also be present in several halls!
We will be showcasing additively manufactured surfaces on the shell of a turtle made of metal and polymer that have been reworked using various processes. A few steps further on, you can discover how production technology for surface processing can prevent dangerous blood clots when using artificial hearts and thus prolong life (Hall 2).
The hydrogen reference factory provides examples of production processes that pave the way for the future of green hydrogen technologies: continuous and discrete production technologies for bipolar plates and membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs), as well as the winding of pressure vessels made of fiber-reinforced plastics (Hall 13).
If you want to experience the benefits of 5G technology in combination with artificial intelligence and a digital twin, you can compete against a 5G table footballer in the 5G Arena and try to win against our artificial intelligence. Right next to it, our contacts for the International Center for Networked, Adaptive Production will give you an insight into the "ICNAP Ecosystem". This system gives you access to project results from the fields of machine learning, digital twins and data analysis, which you can use to identify digitalization potential for your company (Hall 14).
- Hall 2, Booth A28: Presentation of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research | "Heart 2.0" research project: Laser surface structuring for an artificial heart valve
- Hall 2, Booth B24: Fraunhofer Group for Production at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft stand | Additive manufacturing and post-processing of metal and plastic surfaces
- Hall 13, Booth C47: Fraunhofer Reference Factory Hydrogen | Discrete and continuous manufacturing of components for electrolyzers and fuel cells
- Hall 14, Booth H06 (27): ICNAP - International Center for Networked, Adaptive Production | ICNAP Explorer and demonstrator of the digital twin
- Hall 14, Booth H06 (30): 5G Arena | Potential for intelligent industrial control, shown using the example of the "5G table football"
